This page explains how to request deletion of any personal data Irreductible Leads may hold about you. The procedure depends on who you are.

If you messaged a business on WhatsApp

If you are a person who contacted a business over WhatsApp and that business uses Irreductible Leads, your data — your number, your profile name, and the messages you sent — belongs to that business. We only process it on their behalf.

You can request deletion through either route:

Directly with the business you messaged. This is the fastest route, because they are the ones who decide about that data. They can delete it from their dashboard at any time.
Through us. Write to tomas@irreductible.net from any email address, including:
- The WhatsApp phone number you messaged from, in international format (for example, +54 9 11 5555-5555).
- The name of the business you contacted, if you remember it.
- A sentence stating that you are requesting deletion of your data.
We forward the request to the responsible business within 2 business days and confirm to you that we have done so.

Identity verification. To prevent a third party from requesting deletion of someone else's data, we may ask you to confirm from the same WhatsApp number involved. We will not ask for documents or any data beyond what is needed to verify the request.

If you are a business customer

You have three options, with different scope:

Action	What it deletes	How
Delete a single lead	All messages and contact data for that person.	From the Irreductible Leads dashboard, on the contact record.
Disconnect the integration	Revokes our access to your WhatsApp Business Account. Data already stored remains until you request its deletion.	From the dashboard, or from your business portfolio settings in Meta Business Suite.
Close the account and delete everything	All of your account data, configuration, templates, and the complete conversation and lead history.	Write to tomas@irreductible.net from the account's admin email.

Timelines

Acknowledgement: within 2 business days.
Effective deletion: within 30 days of the verified request.
Backup purge: up to 30 days more, since backups rotate on a cycle. During that window the data is inaccessible and is not used for any purpose.

What we cannot delete

Some data we are required to retain even after your request. We keep it solely for that reason and use it for nothing else:

Billing records, for seven (7) years, to meet United States tax and accounting requirements.
Minimal audit records needed to evidence that we honored the deletion request itself.
Data covered by a court order or a standing legal requirement.

Data that WhatsApp or Meta retain in their own infrastructure is governed by Meta's policies and is outside our control. For that, please use WhatsApp's own privacy channels.

If you believe we did not handle your request properly, you may complain to the data protection authority of the country where you live — in Argentina, the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública — or raise it with the business customer you originally messaged, which is the controller of your data.
